Anchored in faith. Sharp in the field. Alive in the song.
Mechanical engineer, ministry leader, and songwriter in Upstate South Carolina.
I've always been drawn to things with weight and history — work and places where something real is on the line. It's fitting that my wife and I live in an old small town general store that's been standing for over a hundred years. It's true of how I grew up, too — close to the ground, in the woods and on the water, passionate about hunting, fishing, and farming.
That same pull toward what's real shows up in how I am with people. I care about them, genuinely and specifically, and I've always been able to read a room — not just what's being said, but what's underneath it. That's true whether I'm sitting with someone who's hurting or walking into a project that's quietly off the rails; I want to understand what's actually needed, not just what's being asked for.
It's that same instinct that lets me carry a lot — engineering, ministry, music — without it feeling like juggling. It's just what a full life looks like. Whatever I'm working on gets everything I have.
Above all else, I follow Jesus. After that, I'm a husband — and I take both seriously.
Work
Engineering
I'm a problem solver. I bring energy to raise the floor and make sure nothing gets left behind when everything is moving forward quickly.
Ministry
I care about people, and I pursue excellence in serving them. From running the technical side of a worship service to developing deep relationships, I hold myself to a high bar to make sure my work is impactful and recognizable.
Music
I love storytelling. Communicating what people feel on a deeper level is hugely rewarding — this is where you might get to know me best.
I care about what projects need and what people need. I notice quickly and handle it with tact, whatever the setting. A full plate keeps me inspired and effective. In a four-month stretch I earned my Six Sigma Green Belt, finished my engineering degree, and started coaching soccer, all while still interning at TTI and leading ministry at church.
